A new innovative technique

Institute of Life – IASO brings 1st in Greece the innovative, non-invasive test

#EMBRACE®, for fetuses!

⏹ This test analyzes only the culture fluid that surrounds the embryos and:

➡ Helps to locate fetuses with the highest probability that they are chromosomally correct, without the need for a biopsy.

➡ Hierarchies and scores embryos based on their chromosomal analysis.

➡ Increases the # chances of achieving pregnancy with the 1st attempt. The new possibility of performing non-invasive pre-implantation control EMBRACE®, offers more confidence to couples who want to increase the chances of pregnancy, without the use of invasive methods, giving them the opportunity to make decisions based on more detailed information.

More about this technique:

➡Helps to identify the fetuses that are most likely to be chromosomally correct, without the need for biopsy

➡Hierarchies and scores embryos based on their chromosomal analysis

➡Increases the chances of achieving pregnancy with the 1st attempt

➡Continuing every possible effort to make even more couples parents, the Institute of Life innovates again and presents for the first time in Greece, in collaboration with IGENOMIX®, the new EMBRACE® test.

EMBRACE® is a new non-invasive test that helps identify fetuses who are more likely to be chromosomally correct without having a biopsy performed on the fetus. This information is especially important because it helps Clinical Embryologists select the embryos most likely to be implanted from the first embryo transfer attempt. This increases the chances of getting pregnant on the first try.Embryos created after in vitro fertilization treatment release cell-free DNA in a natural way during their development in the laboratory. This is because the embryo develops in a small amount of culture fluid. As it develops, the fetus releases its DNA into the culture fluid. Specialist embryologists from the Institute of Life collect this culture fluid according to a special protocol and send it for analysis. There, the culture fluid is analyzed to detect DNA released from the fetus. Each fetus is then classified according to its probability of being healthy. The embryo with the highest score is the most likely to have the right number of chromosomes, and therefore to be the most ideal for embryo transfer.Choosing a healthy fetus is especially important to increase the chances of a successful treatment. For this reason, the new possibility of performing non-invasive pre-implantation control EMBRACE®, offers more confidence to couples who want to increase the chances of pregnancy without the use of invasive methods, giving them the opportunity to make decisions based on more detailed information.
